Avery can hold her head up

Avery is Three weeks old now, and can finally hold her head up. She is getting big fast. We brought her home wearing preemie clothes and diapers. Now she's into new born sizes. It's amazing how fast she is changing, and how much a day can make a difference in her.
She still continues to be an easy baby. She is slowly starting to sleep through the night, she is only waking up two times. So it's nice to be getting a little more sleep.

Christmas 08

Hope everyone had a good Christmas, we sure did. Above is a picture of Aniston and Dad on Christmas Eve. It was taken right before Christmas eve dinner at my grandmas house. It was a small gathering this year. Just my mom, grandma and us.

Here is a picture of my mom holding Avery in her "My First Christmas" outfit that she bought her. Avery looked so cute.

Here is Annie opening her Christmas Eve PJ's after her bath Thanks grandma, for the number one most annoying toy(Talking Elmo). Annie loves it though, so I guess we'll let it slide. There was a Christmas miracle this year. My mom found another Bear, in Canada of all places. So if anything else happens to Anistons poor bear we have a backup again. I took this picture to refresh everyones memory of what bear looked like before he was lit on fire and ran over by a lawnmower. Poor bear! We went to Yvonne's for Christmas dinner. They got Aniston a big box of dress up stuff. Annie couldn't wait to start trying things on. I think her favorite thing is that pearl necklace that is just her size. Last but not least we have a picture of Annie playing with her new favorite toy bus.

Aniston Pooped in the Potty!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls.... Aniston has reached a major milestone. Are you ready for this?.... Annie pooped in the potty!!!! Applause please!!! Yes, yes yesterday was a big day for the Moss family. I was up changing Avery and Annie came and stood in the doorway. She started grunting as if she needed to potty. Jason asked her if she needed to poop. She said yes, so Jason took her to the bathroom and helped take her pants off. She then sat on the potty and pushed, and then POOPED! Her first reaction was yucky. Jason reassured her it was OK, and a really good thing. We gave her a treat and sang her praises. Now all I can think is hooray, and hopefully it wasn't a fluke. Especially because a few days before she pooped all over the floor an tracked it everywhere.

All we are missing is sleep....

Two weeks down, and the rest of our lives to go. Avery is now two weeks old, and she is such a good baby. She hardly cries, and eats really well. She smiles and laughs in her sleep. It is so cute. She had her two week check up on Tuesday. The doctor said everything looks great. She weighed 6 lbs and 7 oz. So she has gained a little over a pound since we brought her home. She is starting to sleep better at night too. The first week was so hard. She would sleep all day, and be awake all night. She didn't cry, but would just lay there and make squeaky noises and grunt. But with that being the only problem I think we are doing pretty good.
As for Aniston she is adjusting great. She loves giving Avery kisses and hugs. She isn't mean to her at all. Our only problem is Annie keeps taking Averys bink. Annie was a little bit of a hand full the first week or so, but she has snapped back into her normal self now. Still a busy handful, but not as bad.

She's Here......

She is here!!! We are proud to announce the arrival of our new baby girl, Avery Marie. She was born on Tuesday December second at 5:34 p.m. She weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces, and was 19 inches long. She is perfect and healthy and we both are doing well.

Still Pregnant.....

For all who are wondering I'm still pregnant. Here is a picture to prove it. Notice I am wearing sweat pants. Not by choice, but because she is sitting so low nothing else is comfortable at this point. I swear she is going to just fall out. If nature doesn't kick in and take it's course by Tuesday they will start me. Thank you Lord for that! I can defiantly say that I am so over being pregnant.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was at my moms house this year. Even though we were short a few of our favorite Thanksgiving guest aka Jasons sister Nikki. She was unable to come this year due to her work and our niece Becca being sick. We missed her, and her help in the kitchen. Despite my mom missing her usual Thanksgiving kitchen sidekick my she did a fantastic job on the big Thanksgiving dinner. Every thing came out really, really good. I ate so much turkey i made my self sick. I think Anistons favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner was the green bean casserole, and of course olives. This was Anistons first Thanksgiving where she could actually feed her self. How exciting it was for her and us.

This is just a cute picture of Aniston in her Thanksgiving outfit

Doctors Visit 11/21

One more doctors visit down, and it was nothing but good news. Even though i was sure that it was just going to be a repeat experience of my last pregnancy. With going in week after week being told nothing was happening; something was happening. I'm dilated to almost a 2, and every thing is looking great. Baby's size and heart rate are good. The doctor says everything looks right on track, I'm so excited. It's so nice to know that things are on there way and it could be any day now. My next appointment is December second. If i don't go into labor before then, I will have the option of him starting me.

Getting of to an Early Start

With having a new baby being just around the corner, and knowing how much time and energy it will take, I decided to drag out all the Christmas stuff and get one leg up on the holiday session. I know it seems definitely early, but I want to just be able to sit back and relax once Avery gets here. I don't want to be feeling the need to fuse over getting a Christmas tree up. I know most women at this stage in the pregnancy are nesting and cleaning their house, me on the other hand decorate. I spent most of the past weekend decking the halls and trimming the tree so to speak. I feel so relieved just knowing for that for the most part my house is all ready for the holiday season. .
Along the way of this fun filled weekend of Christmas spirit wasn't just me getting into the mood. Here is a picture of Aniston in the cute Rudolph shirt that my Mom got for her. Annie loves her new shirt, it lights up when she walks. She thinks it is so cool.
Here is a picture of Annie dancing with her new favorite Christmas decoration/toy. It's a puppy that when you push it's paw, it's ears move up and down along with his head. He sings a merry Christmas song. Aniston thinks it's great and drags it all over the house moving along to his beat.

Here is one last picture of Annie playing with her Christmas train. She calls the snowman a Ghost.

Doctors Visit 11/14

I had another doctors visit this morning. Everything still looks good. Her and my weight are good. I'm still locked up tighter than a bank vault though. He says it doesn't look like she is coming out this week. I haven't started to thin or dilate. There is light at the end of the tunnel coming for me however, my doctor says if I don't go on my own by my appointment after Thanksgiving we will pick a date to start me. So at least I wont have to go way into December being pregnant. I'm very ready for her to be here. Not because i'm physically miserable like I was with Annie, but because i'm anxious to meet her. I have another appointment next Friday.

Not a whole lot to talk about...

It's been a pretty uneventful week for the most part. We have just been busy tying up all the loose ends getting ready for the new baby. Saturday we where able to go on what will probably be our last date until we have Avery, we went to dinner with Trent and Megan. We decided to try this new BBQ place called Goodwood. It really did put the "Good" in Goodwood. It was really good food and the service was pretty fast too. Jason went on a guys night up to a cabin with his friend Jake Sunday night. He had a really great time. Nothing like two men in the wild. Well sort of... I guess they stayed in a really nice cabin with all the amenities. Of course while the boys are away the girls will play. Aniston and I caught up on some last minute shopping for baby items, and then went to Yvonne and Jeffs for dinner. We really missed not coming home to Dad, but I guess it's good to have a night apart every now and then. As far as everything else go's we are all doing great. Annie has been so good lately, it's so nice. She is doing this new thing where she wants to be held. So she will come up with her arms out and say "Hold you, Hold you". It is so so sweet. The pregnancy is going good. I'm feeling great, but so ready to be done. Just tired of being uncomfortable. My next appointment is this Friday. I'm crossing my fingers it will be good news as far as me getting closer to labor.

Oh what a Halloween

Oh what a Halloween it was. We started out early with a trip to the hospital for mom. We got Annie all dressed up to go trick-or-treating while we where there. My appointment got over just as the big hospital trick-or-treat was getting started.
Then it was home ward bound for a little pumpkin carving. Aniston is to little of course to carve her pumpkin. So I gave her some crayons to color a face on hers instead. It was all fun and games, until she took a bight out of one of the crayons. But at least she was able to experience making her own jack-o-lantern.
Here is a picture of Anistons work of art.
Here is a picture of our pumpkin family. Left is the pumpkin I carved. Center is Anistons pumpkin, and right is Jasons masterpiece.

Once all the pumpkins where carved, it was time to get ready for our little family Halloween party. With Grandma Winnie, and Joe Joe, Brycen, Grammy and Annet, Grandpa Stu and my Dad Pop Pop as Anistion calls him. Once everyone had their fill of Chili, and pumpkin cookies it was time for Dad to take Annie out, and around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. Annie had allot of fun. Even though she only made it through about eight or so houses, before she was bored. The best treat she got was from our next door neighbors. They had a goody bag for her with a pumpkin sippy cup, juice, gold fish and little cookies.

All in all Halloween was a good time this year for the Moss family. We gave out almost all of the candy we had to hand out. All of our local family was able to stop by and share a bowl of Chili with us. Hopefully the holidays to come will be just as much fun.

Doctors Visit 10/31

One more doctors visit down. Hopefully not to many to go. We had another prenatal check up yesterday. Dr. Woods says everything looks good. My uterus is all the way up and under my ribs now. Which means she is going most likely be pretty long. He says everything looks good and normal. I just need to work on taking it easy. I was sent to labor and delivery on Wednesday because I was having sever pain that wouldn't go away. It turned out to be round ligaments and dehydration. I feel better for the most part now, but from here on out they said i'm just not going to be comfortable. The doctor said the reason I'm having pain is because my babies are so close together my ligaments didn't have a chance to heal properly. This making it easy to pull them. Unfortunately with Aniston being as rambunctious as she is taking it easy is a hard thing to do. I'll do my best though. My next visit is on the 14Th.

Halloween Party

This Saturday night the grown ups got to dress up and go out and play. Jason and I went to Bart and Sarahs for a Halloween party. The picture above is of Jason and I before we left for the big night out. Jason went as Mavrick from Top Gun, and I went as a Scarecrow. I think this costume hid my eight month pregnant self pretty well. We went with our friends Mandy and Dave. It turned out to be easier for the girls to match, and the boys to match. Right is a picture of Mandy and I. She went as Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. Standing next to her all I could think was "If I only had a brain" lol.

Here is a picture of Jason and his sidekick Dave aka "Goose" from Top Gun. What a pair they made.

All in all the party was a good time. Almost everyone dressed up. Sarah made a ton of good food, and everyone seemed to have a good time I know we did. Now we look forward to taking Aniston to the Kids party on Wednesday back at their house.

A Weekend Full of Pumkins

It was a weekend all about pumpkins for Aniston. To kick it off she spent Friday being extra good. So we took her to Artic Circle to get a Square Pumpkin meal (AKA a kids meal for Halloween). All day long I told her we where going to go get a pumpkin light, and she would mimic back to me "Punkin Light?" with a huge stupid grin on her face. For those who don't know Annie, she is all about pumpkins. It has been her favorite thing all Halloween season. Every time she spots one it's a big deal, and she will shout out "Punkin, Punkin". The best part of the pumpkin meal run was when the girl at the drive through asked Jason what type of kids meal he wanted. His response was, "One with a Pumpkin light" not paying attention to the fact she was asking if he wanted a hamburger or chicken nuggets. The whole time Aniston is in the back saying "Punkin, Punkin".
Next up was Saturday morning picking out our pumpkins for carving. We went to a local owned fruit and vegetable stand just around the corner from our house. As soon as we let Aniston out of the car she was off. Heading straight for the pumpkins as if they where Christmas presents.
Here is a picture of Dad trying to help Aniston pick out the perfect pumpkin.

Aniston picked this nice round one out. Here she is giving everything she has to pick it up herself. To bad it weighs as much as she does. We walked a way with getting two pumpkins and we can't wait to carve them next weekend.

First Snow

So we skipped fall and moved straight to winter. We woke up this morning to about four inches of snow on the ground, and it didn't stop coming down all day. I think we've ended up with about a foot foot and a half of snow. But all wasn't lost to the cold snow. Aniston got her first real chance ever, to play in the snow.
In this part of the yard The snow came up to Anistons upper thigh almost her waist. There was to much of it for her to even be able to walk around in it. She just stood there and said help!
Tiker our neighbor built a huge snow fort. Here is a cute picture of him and Aniston just hanging out inside of it.
Here is Annie standing inside of the fort. We really where impressed with how high he got the walls.

Mostly all Aniston wanted to do however, was eat the snow. Don't worry it was only white snow.

Thriller

This Friday was girls night out! Me, Megans Mom, Megan Tristin and Kylee went to see the Dance Odyssey production of Thriller. First we went for a quick bite to eat at Cafe Rio, then off to the show we went. Megan had this picture taken in the lobby before we took our seats. They have all these zombie girls walking around as you enter. Yes, they acted as creepy as they look. The show was fun. What amazing dancers they all where. I really hope I can go again next year.

Peach Trees

Jason bought some Peach trees for our back yard this week. Even though peach season has past for the year. We are excited to watch them bloom next year. Apparently if you plant two peach trees instead of one, each tree will produce twice the fruit. Something to do with each tree being able to help pollinate one another. Above is a picture of Aniston checking out the new addition to our yard. Below is a pic of Aniston first spotting the trees. What a concerned look she has lol.

(Cute fuzzy, purple jacket was brought back by Grandma Winni. All the way from San Fransisco. Aniston loves it. Insits on having it on all the time. Even just around the house.) I think this picture is just funny. She seems so watchful as if someone is going to try and take her bear.

Doctors Visit 8/03

We had our monthly trip to the ob today. Everything looks good. She is measuring a little big which is good. It means there is a chance he'll put my due date back. Yah! My next appointment is Halloween day. That's the lucky appointment where based on what my body is doing he will decided to move my date, and make me start coming every week. Or keep it the same and just come every two weeks tell something changes. With Aniston my body was stubborn and stayed looked up tighter than a bank vault. Here is hoping all the walking and staying healthy helps out and that isn't the case this time. I really would like to have her at the end of November so we have a month be for Christmas. Not just because it's Christmas and crazy without a new born, but just so we can have some energy to enjoy the holiday. But I know whats meant to happen will, and she'll get here when she is meant to. I know that doctor can move my date all around, but it's Avery that has the final say of when she is coming. ;)

Aniston and her Animals

Ever since Anistons bear had his accident everyone seems to be buying her all sorts of new stuffed toys. Above is a picture of her from this weekend holding five of them including Bear. We have the purple hippo that Grammy gave her, and the Build a Bear that Kestin made for her.As well she is carrying the Monkey that I bought, and another bear that Grammy bought. Here is a picture of the cute birth certificate that Kestin made with the bear. She loves this bear Kestin Named it Sophie. It was so nice of him to think of her and go through all the effort to make it. Aniston is so funny about her stuffed animals. She seems to be very attached to all of them in a different way. She is always trying to pack around as many as she possibly can. This picture is kind of off the subject of Annie and her animals, but I think it is so cute. Since everyone seems to have come down with the flue this weekend. We had to make our own fun at home. Aniston has been putting her glasses on and grabbing her purse and bear and saying bye bye. She must have cabin fever from being couped up with sick Mom and Dad. Sorry baby Girl.
